About Vodka Calling

Here I am, the ever important "About Me" section. I don't know about you,but when I come across new blogs, the first thing I read is the "About Me" section,and,well, that will pretty much determine if I continue reading the blog or not. It is that make it or break it point for me. Am I alone in this or do you feel my pressure? Exactly how much detail am I suppose to go into here? Too much info and you will get bored, too little and it will not be enough to hold anyone's interest. Right? Too much rambling and you will think I hit the vodka a little too early, but then I would have to ask, is it ever too early for vodka? Ummmmm, not in my world.

So, the short story. I have been blogging for about two years. But,because I am so indecisive and perhaps borderline OCD my blogs never last that long. After taking some time off from blogging, I believe I have finally figured it out, but more on that in a second.

I am a mom of four, wife to one, and even though I love my family,I have my moments, moments that call for vodka, and lots of it.

Just off the the top of my head

~ 18 yr old who must disagree with every single thing I say. I believe the only thing we agree on was on how funny the movie "Due Date" is.(and for the record it is a very funny movie with a surprise ending)

~ 11 yr old who believes I was put on this earth to make his life unbearable.

~ 7 yr old who is as stubborn as they come. Seriously, if we were to have a "whose kid is more stubborn" contest, I would win, hands down.

~ 5 yr old who loves to put toothpaste in her hair and refuses to give up her pacifier.

and lets not forget the husband, who is having an affair with his x-box.

So, can you feel my pain?

Oh, and for the record, this post, the few paragraphs that it is, took me TWO FREAKIN HOURS to write. I kept getting interrupted with "Mom, I need a diaper" (don't ask) "Mom, my butt hurts" "Mom, did you really cook meatloaf again for dinner" "Mom, I decided I want to meet Eminem, how would I go about doing this" "Honey, can you move, you're blocking the tv"

TWO HOURS!

Anyhow, if you actually read this, I am sure, just like me, you are ready for some vodka, because in this house there is always Vodka Calling.
